چکیده
Abstract Two-electron transfer by fast heavy nuclei from heliumlike targets is studied. A detailed sequence of comprehensive computations carried out in a large keV–MeV range the projectile energies. This set illustrated with total cross sections for double capture alpha particles helium atoms using several frequently applied four-body quantum-mechanical distorted wave models correct boundary conditions. The sensitivity obtained examined different choices bound and continuum states. Especially at high energies, influence compactness states investigated reference to mechanism velocity matching kinematic electron capture. Also considered dependence these on electronic screening target nuclear charges impact this shielding assessed corresponding bare Relative all available experimental data (100–6000 keV), found striking model-dependence implies that two-electron sharply associated one-electron involving same colliding particles.

Electron angular and energy distributions in relativistic ion-atom collisions
The projectile ionization of high–Z, hydrogen–like ions has been studied within the framework of first–order perturbation theory, based on Dirac’s equation. In these studies, emphasis was placed on the energy distribution of the emitted electrons as observed within the laboratory frame. For many years, first–order perturbation theory has been applied in order to analyze the excitation and ioniz...
متن کاملRadiative electron capture to continuum in relativistic ion–atom collisions
The capture of a target electron to the projectile continuum with simultaneous photon emission, known as radiative ionization (RI), is investigated theoretically for fast, highly charged projectiles colliding with light target atoms. Based on the impulse approximation in its post form, the features of radiative ionization are studied and contrasted with the related processes of radiative electr...

Previous calculationn of ion-atom interactions by the pseudopotential and asymptotic methods are used in the computation of the cross section for Symmetrie charge transfer at energies below 1 keV. Ihe results for Li , Na , K*, Kb , CB and Ca ions are compared with data obtained in beam experiments, and by optical pumping techniques. The difference in the cross cections for TP-yg and P^/2 ions o...

2014 The recent experimental observation of the Thomas peak on the differential crosssection for high energy electron capture is confronted with the theoretical prediction. Very good agreement is obtained for all scattering angles with the CDW approximation including the internuclear interaction. J. متن کاملQuasiresonant Energy Transfer in Ultracold Atom-Diatom Collisions
Quantum and classical quasiresonant vibration-rotation energy transfer is investigated for ultracold He H collisions. Classical trajectory computations show that extremely strong correlations between and persist at low energies, though the changes themselves are less than one quantum. Quantum computations show that quasiresonant transitions occur in the limit of zero collision energy but that ...
